DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Gala  – The Winter Ball will take place on Friday\, February 9\, 2018 at the Breakers Palm Beach. Proceeds from the gala will benefit Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. \nLeading the efforts this year\, are Chairman Mr. and Mrs. Robert Forbes and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schumacher.  Honorary Chairmen are Julie and Mike Connors\, Mr. and Mrs. J. Pepe Fanjul\, Mrs. Rudolph W. Giuliani\, and  Thomas Quick.  Vice Chairmen Mrs. Talbott Maxey and Mrs. Christine Stiller are joined by Junior Chairmen Nicholas Fonseca\, Wyatt Koch\, Ashley Schumacher\, and Lauren Schumacher. \nIn its’ 37th year\, the annual black tie event is one of the most widely attended galas of the Palm Beach social season! The evening begins with a delectable cocktail hour in the Mediterranean Courtyard. The evening progresses to the Venetian ballroom where the guests will enjoy a 3-course meal followed by a live auction and dancing. There will also be a special dance performance by our Club Members.

DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Annual “Walk in the Woods” will feature performances by students from the Lynn Conservatory of Music. The event will raise funds for the 25 local non-profits supported by the Boca West Children’s Foundation. The walk will take place on the Fazio II golf course at the Boca West Country Club. \n  \nAs participants walk the course\, they will encounter trios\, string quartets\, and individual musicians from the conservatory performing classical pieces of music. During the walk\, participants will be treated to wine\, food\, and refreshments. Pets on leashes are welcome. The event is open to the community. The cost to participate is a $50 donation to the Boca West Children’s Foundation and includes an event t-shirt.
